Both Classic and Premium members enjoy this simple and easy to remember Vivva Dollars scheme which applies across all participating properties. The more you spend, the more Vivva Dollars and rewards you earn.

1. Vivva Dollars Scheme Introduction

1.1 HK$1 eligible spending = 1 Vivva Dollar

1.1.1 You can earn 1 (one) Vivva Dollar for every HK$1 eligible spending* on the following consumption at any of our participating hotels and serviced apartments:
1.1.1.1 hotel accommodation
1.1.1.2 food & beverage, including takeaway
1.1.1.3 meeting, events and catering services including outside catering
1.1.2 Eligible spending refers to the settlement amount including 10% service charge, subject to related terms and conditions

1.2 Vivva Dollars Validity: maximum 12 consecutive months

1.2.1 Vivva Dollars are valid within the same membership year that the Vivva Dollars are earned.
1.2.2 For example, if you become a valid Vivva member on 1 April 2014 (1st membership year from April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015), you earn 2,000 Vivva Dollars on the 1st day you join Vivva Programme and 4,000 Vivva Dollars on Feb 1, 2015. The total 6,000 Vivva Dollars earned will expire on the same day, the end of the 1st membership year (i.e. March 31, 2015). The Vivva Dollars acquisition for the 2nd membership year will start all over again from April 1, 2015.
1.2.3 Convert Vivva Dollars to rooms or dining eVouchers any time before the expiry date, otherwise, they will be forfeited.
1.2.4 eVouchers are valid for 12 months upon its issue date (conversion date). This means Vivva Dollars can be kept for a maximum of 24 consecutive months before redemption (12 months validity for Vivva Dollars + another 12 months validity for eVouchers).

1.3 Vivva Dollars Credited into your Vivva Account Overnight

1.3.1 It normally takes 1 day (overnight) for regular transactions, e.g. rooms spending, restaurants & bars spending and one-day event spending.
1.3.2 It takes 3-4 weeks for some special transactions which require manual operation procedures, e.g. MICE group, multi-day conference and accommodation on a long-stay contract.

1.4 Pre-requisites for Vivva Dollars Earning

1.4.1 A valid Vivva Membership at the time of checking-out, event date and final payment date
1.4.2 Fully paid with no outstanding balance upon check-out or departure
1.4.3 Qualifying rates or be an eligible spending (please refer to FAQ and terms and conditions for details)
1.4.3.1 “Pay & Stay” Guests - Pay qualifying room rates via direct bookings and be a registered staying guest.
1.4.3.1.1 Third party payment do not apply to Vivva Dollars earning
1.4.3.1.2 For ineligible stay (non-qualifying room rates), the total room bills are not entitled to Vivva Dollars earning including room incidental charges
1.4.3.1.3 No special requirements for payment methods
1.4.3.2 “Dine & Pay” Diners - Settle the bill at the restaurants and bars with member’s credit card including deposits and advance payment.
1.4.3.2.1 The name imprinted on that credit card should be the same as the member’s name in the Vivva System

2. How to Earn Vivva Dollars? (What is Eligible Spending?)

2.1 Rooms

2.1.1 Eligible room spending refers to the reservations through the following channels:
2.1.1.1 Hotel corporate websites - online booking with any room rates displayed on the hotel websites
2.1.1.2 Corporate sales - registered staying guests who pay for the rooms rates to earn Vivva Dollars (Guest’s Own Account), not the corporate bookers who make the bookings
2.1.1.3 Reservations teams – individual room bookings through email, phone or fax
2.1.1.4 Front office teams – guests who pay for the walk-in rate
2.1.1.5 Online Travel Agents (Guest’s Own Account) – book through selected online travel agents (OTA) but pay the room bills (room charges and incidentals) direct to the hotels
2.1.2 Eligible room spending includes:
2.1.2.1 Room charges (qualifying room rates)
2.1.2.2 Incidental charges incurred during the eligible stays, e.g. room service, mini-bar, laundry, in-room telephone charges and airport transfers
2.1.2.3 10% service charge
2.1.3 Cash pay-out, cash advance transactions, penalty charges and tips are NOT entitled to Vivva Dollars earning.
2.1.4 The bill (guest folio) must be in members’ names and they can earn Vivva Dollars on the eligible room spending of a maximum four (4) guestrooms during the same stay.
2.1.5 No special requirements for payment method.

2.2 Restaurants and Bars

2.2.1 Earn Vivva Dollars on the settlement amount of food and beverage consumption expenses including 10% service charge and deposit amount (if any) AFTER deduction from any discounts and Vivva eVoucher redemption amounts.
2.2.2 Maximum 100,000 Vivva Dollars to be earned on any eligible F&B spending (i.e. HK$100,000) per transaction.
2.2.3 Only food and beverage patron who has valid Vivva membership and pays for their bills with his/her own credit card, is entitled to the Vivva Dollars earning on the transaction. The name imprinted on that credit card should be the same as the member’s name in the Vivva System.
2.2.4 To earn Vivva Dollars, the deposit, advance payment and balance payment must be paid by Member’s own credit card.
2.2.5 Deposit is entitled to Vivva Dollars, yet, it will be credited into the member’s account once the restaurant booking is materialized and the total bill is fully settled.
2.2.6 Deposit or any settlement amount paid in cash or by direct bank-in is NOT entitled to Vivva Dollars.
2.2.7 For example, if the deposit HK$1,000 is paid in cash while the balance HK$2,000 is settled by member’s credit card on the event day, the member can earn 2,000 Vivva Dollars on this transaction (i.e. balance payment).

2.3 Events, Meetings and Catering Services

2.3.1 Earn Vivva Dollars on the settlement amount of events, meetings and catering consumption expenses including 10% service charge and deposit amount (if any) AFTER deduction from any discounts and Vivva eVoucher redemption amounts.
2.3.2 Maximum 100,000 Vivva Dollars can be earned on any eligible events, meetings & catering spending (i.e. HK$100,000) per transaction.
2.3.3 For corporate events or in the case that the event organizer is not the Vivva Dollars recipient, the event organizer should advise the hotel catering team the name and Vivva membership number of the designated recipient of the Vivva Dollars earned on that particular event in writing (e.g. email) five (5) days before the event commencement date.
2.3.4 For private events, the host or the event organizer (except vendor of the event host) who pays for the bill can earn Vivva Dollars on the spending on their events.
2.3.5 If there are two hosts in the same event (e.g. the bride and groom in a wedding banquet), only one of them can earn Vivva Dollars.
2.3.6 Deposit or advance payment is entitled to Vivva Dollars, yet, it will be entered into the member’s account once the catering event is materialized AFTER the event day and the total bill is fully settled.
2.3.7 When the total bill is fully settled before event day (i.e. 100% advance payment), members would only receive the Vivva Dollars and be upgraded to Premium level AFTER the event (if this catering spending helps making up for their annual minimum eligible spending of HK$10,000).
2.3.8 No special requirements for payment method.
